BRONZE%20MERMAID1

This is one of my favourite scupltures by Deborah. I love the colours and they way all the elements work together. This small mermaid looks like she has just been discovered by someone on the beach.

Again with this fairy the colours are all natural and earthy and work so well together. The attention to detail is amazing. The hair is so well done that it looks like it is on a life sized model. The little touches with the jewels and adornments finish this sculpture of beautifully.

ARIADNE

This couple work so well together. The interaction between them is so believable. And yet again Deborah has chosen colours that look so natural and work with each other.

WITW1

My Mother, a very talented Artist had always encouraged and helped me to nurture my love of all things creative . She gave me the ability to explore many mediums as a child and gave Me room to grow and the freedom of expression. It soon became apparent to me that I was happiest when I was creating 'something'

For several years in England, My place of birth and home until 1999, I had been making art made from Salt Dough and had been lucky enough to sell my work in stores and at craft fairs

I also taught the art of Dough Craft at a local High school and College.

I moved to the US in 1999 and the huge variety of craft and art supplies suddenly available to me was a wonderful source of inspiration.
It wasn't long before I found my first package of Polymer clay and after some Internet research . I found my new love...and my adventure into polymer clay began . At first it was just a step up and away from the simple country style crafts I had been making for years, but it soon became my addiction!

Every one of my sculptures has many hours of love spent on their creation and I hope this is reflected in my work. I try to use only the finest supplies and materials available to me and always hope each creation will be treasured for many years to come.
