I really like this picture, Andy really captures the essence of Faeries for me. These sculptures really portray faeries as we see them in our (my) imagination as magical creatures with their own unique physicality rather than scaled down human beings with wings. I don’t know if the picture is intentionally fuzzy or whether it was taken years ago with a lower pixel camera but it works brilliantly in any case.

Andy gets the look just right again with this red haired faeire who playfully chases butterflies. the twigs in her hair and the ragged nature of her wings make this sculpture look natural and supernatural at the same time.

this Faerie is photographed really well, I like the way her pupils are dilated to compensate foir the darkness all around. The markings on her body highlight the fact that she is a different species and not a scaled down human.
